Monday 17th January - Richard McVeigh - creator of the Beauty in Sound YouTube Channel

With nearly 80,000 subscribers and 4.4 million views, organist Richard McVeigh is clearly doing something right on YouTube! Richard will talk about his Beauty in Sound YouTube channel, behind the scenes insight, his experiences with the Hauptwerk pipe organ simulation system and his highly impressive new 4 manual organ console and Hauptwerk set up. Not to be missed for Richard's insight into the world of performing on the organ on YouTube, using Hauptwerk at home (and on the move!) and his life since leaving the professional Cathedral organist world. 

Monday 7th February - David Briggs - International Concert Organist, Improviser and composer 

David Briggs is one of the world's most renowned organists, improvisers and composers. He is Artist in Residence at the Cathedral of St John the Divine, New York, which facilitates his global concert diary. He is renowned for his extraordinary transcriptions of large scale orchestral works to the organ, such as the Mahler symphonies, and his extraordinary ability as an improviser. David is also much sought after as a pedagogue, leading improvisation and interpretation masterclasses at conservatoires across the world. It is just as well he also loves flying and talking! 

Monday 25th April - Ad Wammes - Composer

Dutch composer Ad Wammes is one of the most distinctive and successful composers for organ in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Renowned for pieces such as Miroir, Toccata Chromatica, Ride on a High Speed Train and many more, Ad will talk about his career, his composition language and technique, writing for the organ, his experiences and insight.
