WDAO School's organ day 2015

The Winchester and District Association of Organists (WDAO) is a membership organisation promoting and advancing organ and church music in Winchester and surrounding areas. We support and encourage organists and enthusiasts of organ and church music through events and sponsorship of concerts. We also support churches who wish to have organ and church music as part of their ministry, by providing support to organists and helping find organists to play for services.

The WDAO runs events for our members, guests and organists in the area. Events include visits to organs and places of interest, master classes and workshops on organ playing, evening talks, foreign tours and social events.

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in organs and music. For a modest annual subscription, members receive our quarterly newsletter, invitations to all our events, a discount on subscription to the Organists' Review magazine and discounts to events and concerts in the area. We have reduced membership fees for junior members, students and members living at the same address. See our Membership page for more information.

The WDAO is affiliated to the Incorporated Association of Organists (IAO), who run a series of nation-wide events, including their annual congress. Membership of the WDAO provides automatic membership to the IAO.
